It's really best value for money.
I don't like Asset's breakfast and every room on the 1-st floor.

This hotel is a great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is perfect, nestled in a nice quiet area near the French Concession. The staff are friendly and provide good service. The hotel provides all the basic amenities one would need, including rooms with heaters for those chilly nights. I also appreciated the fact that they have 2 computers available for free use in the lobby, making it convenient for guests to stay connected.
All was ok, nothing to complain about.

Nice small clean hotel conveniently located inside a peaceful yard. The staff is very nice and competent. If you do not expect luxury with this price level in Shanghai, you will be well satisfied. Easy access to Henshan Pub Street and Xu Jia Hui's electronics shopping malls etc. Have stayed twice and intend to stay again.

The hotel is located in a nice quiet area, tucked back in off an alley from the main street. It feels like a residential area, which is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They provided basic amenities in the rooms, including heaters for those colder nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with options for twin beds or a UK size double bed. The breakfast provided was included in the price and had a good variety of both Western and Chinese food. The lobby also had internet access, which was convenient for checking emails or getting some work done.
All was well, no improvements needed.

Friendly kindly staff. At the reception there's always somebody speaking English, – very convenient! Computers with Internet access free for use in the foyer. Air conditioner. Breakfast included, – Chinese food, I liked! Safe box for valuable things in the room. All signs and labels in the room had their versions in English. The room was decent enough for its price.
They charged a little bit (approx. 15%) more than it was stated on the site. I think it would be more convenient to see the end price. Still it didn't worsened my impressions about the hotel at all.
